THE FORUM

THE FORUM brings together the most  prominent companies acting in the Business Shared Services – BPO, ITO, SSC and connected  services and tech solutions providers’ industry in Romania in a half-day event with engaging keynote sessions sustained by C-level industry leaders within an interactive CEO LEADER DEBATE and multiple and engaging networking opportunities. The event aims at becoming an arena where key players in the field can discuss the current challenges and opportunities that the business services providers deal with.

These categories of awards honor a business organization demonstrating superior performance in the development, delivery and innovation of outsourcing services.

This award recognizes all aspects of business management excellence, such as financial and operational performance, depth and breadth of services, client and employee growth, company leadership, as well as social responsibility for the business services companies with over 800 employees in Romania)

This award recognizes all aspects of business management excellence, such as financial and operational performance, depth and breadth of services, client and employee growth, company leadership, as well as social responsibility for business services companies with less than 800 employees in Romania)

This award seeks to recognize the industry company with more than
800 employees which has achieved excellence in the provision of
internationally recognized training to its employees, an employer who promotes the value of quality environment at the workplace

This award provides recognition for top quality design, functionality and excellence in the workplace.

(ON-LINE VOTED AWARD) This award recognizes the popularity aspect of a brand alone. The judging process for this category is unique in this competition: 100% public on-line voting. The website of the event will run as an ongoing online nomination and voting platform for this category award.

INDIVIDUAL AWARD

Nominees should be extraordinary individuals, showing demonstrable achievements in their outsourcing career, being directly responsible for creating and instituting innovative and effective programs, projects, or technologies and/or have otherwise significantly helped the company or outsourcing industry meet their goals.

This award recognizes the activity of a head of operations - Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer, general manager or company president, that demonstrated commitment to the Romanian outsourcing sector by creating a positive impact with the business he/she works in.

INITIATIVE AWARDS

An initiative nomination must describe either one or a set of activities that impacted positively on the outsourcing sector. Nominations should describe projects that are particularly exceptional or innovative and go beyond “business as usual” measures.

CSR is increasingly important to the competitiveness of enterprises. This award honors the business organization demonstrating the most significant social impact.

This award recognizes the best educational project implemented by a company.

This Award goes to the organization that best demonstrates that it has substantially improved its operational performance in terms of workflow effectiveness, customer experience management, increased turnover and improved margins or cost control through an innovation in their use and application of digital technologies either developed in house or sourced from an external supplier

VENDOR AWARDS

The awards of this category recognize the suppliers’ ability to deliver business value to clients, implementing industry best practices and contributing to the sustainable growth of the sector in Romania.

This award recognizes the excellence in contingent and permanent recruitment workforce solutions

This award goes to the benefits supplier that contributed the most to improving employee retention and engagement. (e.g. of benefits: insurance, wellness, pensions, learning & development)

This award recognizes the top office development in Bucharest that
offers healthy, enjoyable and productive places to work.

AWARDS APPLICATION PROCEDURE

    AWARD CATEGORIES DEFINITIONS

Company Awards: These categories of awards honor a business organization demonstrating superior performance in the development, delivery and innovation of outsourcing services. For the BPO, SSC, ITO Companies of the year and Employer of the Year categories we’ll offer two awards/ category, one for companies that have more than 800 employees in Romania and another one for the companies with a number of employees that is below this threshold

Relevant criteria and quantifiable results should refer to:     
* Numbers: size of contracts, growth, percentage changes, market share (please supply proof of success e.g. statistics, financial results, ratios, percentages, ROI) 
* Employment & growth last year. Employee engagement improvement: How did the employee engagement index (or any other internal HR indicator: retention increase, attrition reduction, promotions within the company, etc.) grow? (* for the Employer of the Year in Outsourcing Award)
* Talent development and retention: To what extent did the initiative influence the retention of high potentials/talents in your company and develop your teams
* Future expansion plan of the organizations
* Innovation & value addition
* Customer’s processes value addition

Individual Awards: Nominees should be extraordinary individuals, showing demonstrable achievements in their outsourcing career, being directly responsible for creating and enacting innovative and effective programs, projects, or technologies and/or have otherwise significantly helped the company or outsourcing industry meet their goals. Applicants can be nominated or self-submitted.

Relevant criteria and quantifiable results should refer to:
* Entrepreneurship approach & plan for future growth
* Innovation & value addition
* Outstanding contribution to the industry in the past 12 months
* Commitment to the outsourcing industry creating a positive impact with the business he/she works in
* Evolution of the company in 2018
* CSR activities in which the individual was personally involved
* Academic projects in which the nominee was involved
* Learning & development programs within the company the nominee had a mentoring contribution

* Innovation & Value addition
* Financial/Business gains for clients: Achieved benefits (direct and indirect) for clients (further growth, lower expenditure costs, improved cash balance). Please supply proof of success e.g. statistics, financial results, ratios, percentages, ROI
* Tangible improvements: How was the project/initiative perceived by the Client and other Stakeholders? What were the concrete outcomes (improved quality, financial gains, working capital improvement, higher delivery rate, more effective communication)? Please supply proof of success e.g. statistics, financial results, ratios, percentages, ROI
* Innovativeness of the project: What do you believe is the core innovation of this project?
* Direct impact for your Company and the sector: How did the initiative boost your reputation as a company? How can the Business Services Sector benefit from this initiative? What is the success rate? Please supply proof of success e.g. statistics, financial results, ratios, percentages, ROI

Vendors Awards: The awards of this category recognize the suppliers’ ability to deliver business value to clients, implementing industry best practices and contributing to the sustainable growth of the sector in Romania.

If a company is submitting the same entry in more than one category, each entry must be submitted separately.

Nominations must be submitted online via the Application forms. 

The deadline for all nominations is 5 July 2020. The nomination procedure will be closed after this date and late entries will not be considered for 2020 awards.

SELECTION PROCESS

The panel of jury members will consider and score the nominations that are submitted by the due date and meet all eligibility requirements for the Romanian Business Services Awards for Excellence. The name of the Award Winners will be announced during The Gala dinner held at Athene Palace Hilton Palace Hotel, Bucharest on 15 July 2020.
